WOONSOCKET- Claire (Gianco) Cote, 93, formerly of Park Ave, Woonsocket died Wednesday, July 6 2011 in Overlook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Rene P. Cote.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late John and Sophie (Starve) Gianco.
Mrs. Cote retired as a Dietary Aide for the St. Francis Home, Woonsocket in 2001.
She is survived by a daughter in law, Janice (Gobeille) Cote of Woonsocket, a sister, Eva Vito of Woonsocket, three grandchildren, Lisa Rivard and her husband Joseph, Russell Cote and his wife Tina and Richard Cote and three great grandchildren, Jacob Cote and Allison and Morgan Rivard. She was the mother of the late Richard Cote and sister of the late Charles Gianco, Barbara Gallik and Mary Morrissey.
Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 10AM in St. James Episcopal Church, 24 Hamlet Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone. Calling hours have been omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Overlook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Activity Fund, 14 Rock Ave., Pascoag, RI 02859.
