BURRILLVILLE- Michelina (Montecalvo) White, 89, died Saturday July 16, 2011 at home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Ralph R. White.
Born in Vieste Foggio, Naples, Italy she was the daughter of the late John and Carmela (Annicelle) Montecalvo.
She lived in Pascoag with her family for many years.
Mrs. White came to this country in 1932, she worked at Zambarano Hospital for 27 years, 23 as a nurse's aide and 4 in housekeeping, she was a steward for Local 1134 for 4 years.
She is survived by five children, Carmella White and Steven White of Pascoag, Kevin White of Huntersville, NC, Emily Greene of Lincoln, John White of Templeton, MA, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a stepmother Rose Montecalvo, and five sisters Jennie Golden, Theresa Prete, Angelina, Lucrezia & Elena Montecalvo.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday July 20, 2011 at 9AM from the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Joseph's Church, 183 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's cemetery, Burrillville. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 8PM.
