BELLINGHAM, MA- Raymond E. Lussier, 65, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Milford Regional Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 40 years of Rachel R. (Deragon) Lussier.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on June 16, 1946, he was the son of the late Eugene and Lorette (Remillard) Lussier.
He was the loving father of Michael R. Lussier and his wife Michelle of Bellingham, MA, Christine M. Haner and her husband Joseph of North Smithfield, RI, Kimberly A. Bourbeau and her husband Michael of Medway, MA; and his cherished six grandchildren, Jacob, Kyle and Amanda Haner, Emily and Julia Bourbeau, and Joseph Lussier. Also leaves his brother Roger Lussier and his wife Sandra of Bellingham.
A lifelong resident of Bellingham and worked as a forklift operator for 12 years at Key Boston d/b/a The Boston Group of Franklin, MA retiring in 2008 and he previously at Edgcomb Steel of Slatersville, RI for 26 years. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran and received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooter Badge M-14 Rifle. He was a master woodworker and enjoyed fishing. Devoted to his family, he will be greatly missed.
