CUMBERLAND- Celia E. (Brackett) Pelland, "Skippy" 79, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late William N. Pelland.
Born in Blackstone, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Brackett and the late Florence (Cabana) Bousquet.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Garneau of Woonsocket, Karen Poole of North Kingstown and Patricia Cragg of Cumberland; three sons, David Pelland of Cumberland, Thomas Pelland of Harrisville and William Pelland of Warren, MA; fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Brackett and George Bousquet, and three sisters, Marie Mercure, Norma Hull and Rachel Richer.
The funeral will be held, Thursday at 8:30am from the O'NEILL Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8pm. For online condolences,
