WOONSOCKET- Raymond B. Begin, 77, resident of Woonsocket, died July 27, 2011 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence.
Born Oct. 19, 1933 in Albion RI, a son of the late Rodolpha & Jeanne (Leroux) Begin.
Raymond worked for the Replacement Auto Parts, and the Zambarano Hospital. He was a peacetime Navy veteran. He enjoyed visiting the Library, an avid cat lover and enjoyed feeding ducks.
He is survived by his sisters, Yolande Landry, Madeleine Olivier, Lise Spirka, and Pauline Lawrence, brothers Normand, twin brother Maurice, Paul, and Ralphael Begin, and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Monday at 9:30am from the Brown Funeral Home 1496 Victory Hwy. Oakland with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St. Josephs Church Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Pascoag. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4-7pm.
