WOONSOCKET- Paul L. Martel 80, formerly of Fulton St. died Monday at the Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Elphege and Eugenie (Marcotte) Martel.
Paul worked at Belmont Woolen Mill, Woonsocket Hospital as a kitchen aide, and Cape Cod Restaurant before retiring in 1980.
He is survived by two brothers Lionel Martel of Ormond Beach FL, and Gerard Martel of Woonsocket, and a sister Jeannette Boulay of Cumberland. He was pr-deceased by his siblings Lucien, and Omer Martel, Lillian Lagace, Beatrice Jolicoeur, Yvette Duhamel and his twin Pauline Franca.
His funeral with visitation will be held Friday, 8:30 -10:30 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Please visit:
