Robert L. Pleau

WOONSOCKET- Robert L. Pleau, 60, of Greene St. , died Friday August 5, 2011, at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Dawn (O'Dell) Pleau.
Born in Shirley, MA. son of the late Louis Pleau, and Janice (Leslie) Pleau, of Woonsocket.
Mr. Pleau worked as a Machinist for Gould Ehberhart , for several years.
He was a member of the Teamsters.
Besides his mother, he is survive d by four sons, Robert and wife Barbara Pleau, of Webster, Allen Gavel, of Webster, Ma., Louis Pleau, of California, Stephen Phaneuf, of Woonsocket. Four daughters, Michelle and husband Jos O'Laughlin, of Lawrence, Ma., Laura Cram and husband Edmund Croteau, of Woonsocket, and Christine and Husband Jared of Dudley, MA, Tara and husband James Butler, of Webster, Ma. Three sisters Loretta Badeau, and Leslie Bright, both of Woonsocket, Cheryl Dubois of Georgia. Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
His funeral and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Make a Wish Foundation, of Rhode Island, 744 Park Ave. Cranston, R.I. 02910-2150, in his memory, would be appreciated.
