WOONSOCKET- Rita L. (Theroux) Raymond, 86, of Fountain St., died Sunday, August 7, 2011 in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Her husband of 38 years, Alfred N. Raymond, Jr., died in 1983.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Joseph A. and Delia (Riendeau) Theroux.
Mrs. Raymond attended St. Louis School. She was a dedicated and passionate employee at CVS on Walnut Hill. Mrs. Raymond was a member of All Saints Community Church.
She leaves three sons, Robert A. Raymond and his wife Kathy of North Smithfield, Alfred Raymond and Christine Chevrette of Woonsocket and Paul Raymond and Lynda Labbadia of Woonsocket; four grandchildren, Robbie, Nicholas, Tara and Kaitlin Raymond; four great grandchildren, Robbie Raymond, III, Haley and Ethan Raymond and Paige Matteson. Mrs. Raymond was predeceased by two sisters, Theresa Duplessis and Claire Desjardins.
The funeral is Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 9AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in All Saints Community Church, 323 Rathbun St. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Wrentham Rd., Bellingham. Calling hours are Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 5-8PM in the funeral home.
