CHARLOTTE, NO. CAROLINA- Florence Amanda Langevin of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away August 8, 2011 at her home after an eight-month courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Florence was born in Woonsocket, RI, on February 7, 1925, to the late Joseph and Emelia (Lemieux) LeClair.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar, in April of 2003 and her sister, Sr. Rose LeClair, Presentation of Mary, of Methuen, MA.
The Langevin family moved to Charlotte in 1962 with the relocation of the Woonsocket Mill.
Mrs. Langevin is survived by her children, 9 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a step-great-grandson A Mass was celebrated on Friday, August 12th. Online condolences may be sent to www.carolinafuneral.com. Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center is entrusted with the arrangements.
