NORTH SMITHFIELD- Florence E. Tetreault, 58, of North Smithfield, died Monday at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of Evelyn (Gaudreau) Tetreault of Woonsocket and the late Roland Tetreault.
She lived most of her life in Woonsocket until moving to North Smithfield 9 years ago.
Ms. Tetreault was employed in the housekeeping department at the Fogarty Hospital for many years.
Florence was a very family-oriented person and always made herself available to care for children, especially her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by six brothers, George Tetreault of Cumberland, Gerard, Roland, Rene, and Eugene Tetreault, all of Woonsocket, Michael Tetreault of Kentucky, two sisters, Theresa Ferschke of Douglas, and Doris Roy of North Smithfield. She was the sister of the late Leo Tetreault and Evelyn Masnyk. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her funeral will be Monday at 8:30 am from the Menard- Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. James Church, Division St., Manville. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4-7 pm.
