PROVIDENCE- Suzanne B. (Gonyea) Potter, 47, died Wednesday Aug. 3, 2011 in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.
Born in Woonsocket she is the daughter of Edgar J. Gonyea of Harrisville and the late Blanche J. (Robillard) Gonyea.
Suzanne lived in Burrillville for many years.
She loved walking, riding her bike, the outdoors, fishing and the Ocean.
Besides her father she is survived by her husband Kenneth A. Potter Sr. of Woonsocket, three sons, Kenneth A Potter Jr. and Jarrod Potter both of Woonsocket, Jesse Coyle of No. Kingstown, a daughter Michelle Polacek of Oregon, two brothers, Edgar Gonyea of Woonsocket, Robert Gonyea of Pascoag, who with his wife helped in raising the boys, three sisters, Marie Blicker of Florida, Jeanne Gonyea of Pascoag, Connie Richards of Tennessee. She was the sister of the late Thomas Gonyea.
Her funeral will be held Saturday Aug. 13, 2011 at 9AM from the Boucher Funeral Home 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10AM in St. Joseph's Church, 183 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's cemetery, Burrillville. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8PM.
