WOONSOCKET- Joseph C. McDaniel, Jr., 77, of Craigie Ave., born in Fall River, died Friday, August 12, 2011 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Marilyn A. (Denton) McDaniel who was born in Attleboro, MA. Joseph was the son of the late Joseph C. McDaniel, Sr. and Christine (Budlong) Bernard.
He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for the Hopkins Health Center in No. Providence.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Joseph McDaniel, III, John McDaniel and Brian McDaniel, two brothers, Calvin Freund of, CT and Frank Freund of TX, two sisters, Cindy-Jo Hudson of Woonsocket and Kay Spencer of WA, one grandson John McDaniel Jr., three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late David Freund.
Calling hours are Monday, August 15, 2011 from 5 - 8 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, RI.
