SMITHFIELD- Henry M. "Moe" Menard, 83 resident of Waterman Lake in Greenville passed away August 11, 2011 at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence.
Husband of the late Gloria (Giguere) Menard.
Born September 18, 1927 in Blackstone MA, a son of the late Eugene & Eva (Lessard) Menard.
Moe worked for Madison Industries for many years as a draftsman. A resident of Greenville for the last year, previously he lived in Woonsocket, Blackstone and Florida. He served in WWII and Korea in both the Army and Air Force, in which he received the WWII Victory Medal from the Army. He enjoyed dancing and will be missed at Waterman Lake.
He is survived by his nephew and caretaker, Charles Menard and his wife Emily of Pascoag RI, close friend, Agnes Musco of Greenville.
He was the brother of the late Stephen J. Menard.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 10am in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. No. Smithfield. Burial with military honors will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm.
