William F. Maloney

BLACKSTONE- William F. Maloney, 87, of Blackstone, MA died Friday, August 12, 2011 in Milford Regional Medical Center, Milford, MA. He was the husband of the late Grace (Gilleran) Maloney who passed away in 2001.
Born in Blackstone, MA he was the son of the late Edward S. and Eileen (Brooks) Maloney.
Mr. Maloney was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Eastern Theatre during World War II. He was employed by the Massachusetts Department of Corrections and retired from Norfolk Prison. He was also owner and operator of Corbetts Caf in Blackstone, MA.He was a member of The Knights of Columbus, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the AmVets, a lifelong member of the Democratic Town Committee, and was a Eucharistic Minister for St. Pauls Church in Blackstone, MA.
Mr. Maloney is survived by one son: Michael T. Maloney and his wife Gale of Bellingham, MA; two daughters: Anne Marie Phipps and her husband William of Blackstone, MA; Sharon Beaulieu and her husband Paul of Blackstone, MA; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters: Kathryn McLaughlin- Blackstone, MA; Eileen Greene- Blackstone, MA; one brother: John Maloney- Blackstone, MA. He was predeceased by his son William E. Maloney in 2006.
His funeral will be held at 9:00 am Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from the James E. Kellett and Son Funeral Home, 38 Main St., Blackstone, MA followed by a mass at 10:00 am in St. Pauls Church, St. Pauls St., Blackstone, MA . Burial will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery, Gaskill St., Blackstone, MA. Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 16, 2001 from 5:00-8:00 pm. www.kellettandson.com
