Irene H. Lamothe

VERO BEACH, FL- Irene H. Lamothe, 96, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Atlantic Health Care Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Lamothe was born April 20, 1915 in North Attleboro, MA and moved to Vero Beach in 1996 from Ft. Pierce where she had moved to in 1983 from Bellingham, MA.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughter Lucille Brennan of The Villages, FL; sons COL Norman Lamothe, US Army Ret. of The Villages, FL, Ronald Lamothe of Woonsocket, RI and Gerard Lamothe of Vero Beach, FL; She is also survived by her sister Grace Remillard of Woonsocket, RI; nineteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband L. Philip Lamothe; parents Joseph and Albertine Joinville; brothers Arthur and Edgar Poirier; sisters Rita Trahan, Evelyn Longpre and Sister Lina Poirier of the religious order of the Sisters of Sainte Anne.
Services: The family will receive friends 5-8 PM, Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a prayer service at 6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM, Saturday, August 20, 2011 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach followed by interment at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
