OHIO -- Suzanne B. "Sue" Renaud, age of 61, of Howard, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Knox Community hospital in Mount Vernon.
She was born on August 3, 1950 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to the late Urbain and Gertrude (Fredette) Jodoin.
Sue was a world famous professional artist that specialized in pet portraits and has been published twice in the Journal of American Veterinary Medical Association and many other publication. She was the current president of Precious Pet Paintings. Sue also did a lot of volunteer work and was an avid supporter of Westie Med, located in Washington, D.C. and the Knox County Humane Society.
She is survived by her husband Philip S. Renaud II whom she married on May 26, 1973. A sister, Lorraine Clawson of Visalia, California, a cousin Raymond (Elaine) Villiard, a niece, Darlynn (Scott) Webster. Brother and sister in law, Carl and Roberta Renaud of Pataskala and her canine companions, Caesar, Hannah and Zoe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday August 27, 2011 at 12 noon, in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St. Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Knox County Palliative Care Unit, 1330 Coshocton Ave. Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050, or the Knox County Humane Society, 400 Columbus Rd. Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
