GLOCESTER - Gloria (Phillips) Leduc, 87, resident of Chepachet, died August 24, 2011 at the Heritage Hills Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Leonard A. Leduc.
Gloria was born September 11, 1923 in Harrisville RI, a daughter of the late Oliver & Grace (Bray) Phillips.
She worked as a bookkeeper for various brokerage firms in Providence, retiring in 1985 from A&M Millwright Co. in Millville MA. She was a resident of Chepachet formerly of Pascoag. She was member of the Glocester Senior Center and enjoyed crafts, quilting, and reading.
She is survived by her son, Skip Leduc and his wife Valerie of Nasonville, grandchildren, Curtis Leduc of Woonsocket, Alex Leduc of Chepachet, and Nathan Leduc of Nasonville, and her sister Gladys Sherman of Narragansett.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:30am in the Brown Funeral Home 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland. Burial will follow in Acotes Hill Cemetery in Chepachet. Calling hours are prior to the service from 9:30 until 10:30. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Chepachet Fire & Rescue Department or the Glocester Food Pantry.
