NO. SMITHFIELD- Joan N. (Johnson) Robillard, 71, of Pound Hill Rd., died Saturday, August 27, 2011 in Overlook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Burrillville.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Rita (Beauchamp) Johnson of No. Smithfield and the late Bertil Johnson.
Mrs. Robillard worked thirteen years as an Account Manager for AT&T Boston, MA, retiring in 1996. An avid learner, she recently received an Associates Degree from CCRI at the age of sixty-eight. She was a member of the Smithfield Senior Center and enjoyed country line dancing and playing bocce.
Besides her mother, she is survived by four children, Christine St. Denis of Glocester, Sandra Nary of West Warwick, Ronald Robillard of Mapleville and Scott Robillard of New Bedford, MA, two brothers, Bertil Johnson of Scituate and John Johnson of Pawtucket, a sister, Linda Molack of Coventry, eight grandchildren, Amanda Laurent Eric St. Denis, Cheryl and John Nary, Jennifer LaForge and Matthew, Alexander and Samantha Robillard and two great granddaughters, Kileah Laurent and Charlotte Nary.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 10AM in Slatersville Congregational Church, On the Common, Slatersville. Burial will follow in Slatersville Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-8PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
