WOONSOCKET- Lorraine A. Giard 63, formerly of Lebrun Ave., died Sunday at The Friendly Home. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Albertine (Charette) Giard. She was a member of Seven Hills, formerly known as Homestead Group and ARC of Northern RI for thirty six years. Lorraine was a sweet and loving person. She was a devoted fan of Elvis, and loved dancing, reading and making puzzles.
She is survived by her four siblings, Raymond Giard, Doris Sweeney, and Claire Giard all of Woonsocket, and Roger Giard of Chepachet.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM, from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM, in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Wednesday 5-8 PM. Please visit www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook and directions.
