Dollard L. Lavallee

NO. SMITHFIELD- Dollard "Del" L. Lavallee, 63, of Great Rd., No. Smithfield, died Thursday, September 1, 2011 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of the late Linda (Rebello) Lavallee.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Emile and Rita (Brissette) Lavallee.
Mr. Lavallee was a maintenance technician for the RI Resource Recovery Group, Johnston. He was also a truck mechanic for Garelick Farms in Franklin, MA. Del was a member of the Teamsters, the Cercle Laurier and the Holy Ghost Society, No. Smithfield.
He is survived by two sons, Richard J. Manning, Jr. and his wife Lisa of No. Providence and Steven Manning and his wife Holly of Slatersville, two sisters, Julie Brien of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Leonie Reed of Juno Beach, FL and three grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 9AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., No. Smithfield. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Ghost Society, P.O. Box 33 Forestdale R.I. 02824.
