WOONSOCKET- Donnie Alston 33, resident of Woonsocket, died August 27, 2011 at the Landmark Medical Center.
Born February 17, 1978 in Providence RI, son of Beverly (Lurvey) Chabot of No. Smithfield
Donnie worked for the former Homestead (formerly known as Arc of Northern RI). A Woonsocket resident for the last year, he previously lived in Pascoag where he lived most of his life. He competed in the Special Olympics where he received several medals.
He is survived by his biological mother Joyce Alston and father Mark Nichols, brothers, Keith McGregor, Jesus Rivera, John Ricci, and Michael Clukey, sisters, Dinika, Lesa, Deanna, Makala, and Simone Alston.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jeffrey Pelletier and Fernando Ramirez.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 7:45pm in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. No. Smithfield. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 5-7:45pm.
