WOONSOCKET- Doris L. (Caron) McGee, 89, of Woonsocket, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011 in Oakland Grove Healthcare Center with her children by her side. She was the wife of the late Maurice G. McGee.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Francois X. and Aurore (Lussier) Caron.
Mrs. McGee was a member of Holy Family Church. She will be greatly missed.
She was the mother of the late Gerard McGee and his wife Linda of North Smithfield, Suzanne Boucher and her husband Robert of Woonsocket, Helene Tancrede and her husband Armand of Burrillville, Janice Burke and her husband Charles of Cumberland and Kenneth McGee and his wife Dorothy of Pascoag. She had six grandchildren, James, Lisa, Robert, Lauren, Kristen and Christopher and seven great grandchildren. She was the sister of Eugene Caron and the late Noel Caron, Joseph Caron, Beatrice (Caron) Dagesse, Florence (Caron) Cerruti and Alice (Caron) Roy. Her funeral will be held Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 10AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main Street with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in Holy Family Church, 414 So. Main Street. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm Street, Blackstone, MA. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5 PM to 8 PM in the funeral home.
