CUMBERLAND - Maria Pina, 92, resident of Cumberland, died peacefully September 6, 2011 at the Oakland Grove Health Center in Woonsocket.
She was born in Pawtucket RI, a daughter of the late Alfredo & Antonia (Joaquin) Pina. Maria lived in Woonsocket for fifty years where worked for the former Woonsocket Hospital as a housekeeper.
She is survived by a cousin Theresa Gil of Cumberland. She was the sister of the late Jeremy Pina and Maria Consesson and godchild of Aduzinda & Jose Gil.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:30 am from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home 75 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in All Saints, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery.
Calling hours are prior to the service from 8:30am until 9:30am.
