WOONSOCKET- Albert J. Violette Jr., 81, of Bryant St, died Saturday September 10, 2011 in the Hebert Nursing Home. He was the husband of Estelle L. (Plante) Violette. Albert and Estelle were married for 60 years.
Born in Northbridge, MA. son of the late Albert J. and Alia (Paquin) Violette.
Mr. Violet was a machinist for Bro-Gil Co. in Woonsocket, for several years.
He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Mr. Violet was a former member of the Elks.
Besides his wife Estelle, he is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Violette Cardello and husband Joseph Cardello of North Smithfield, R.I. One son Albert J. Violette III, of California. One granddaughter, Alia Rose Cardello, of North Smithfield.
He was also the brother of the late Alfred Violette.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 9 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8 P.M.
