WOONSOCKET- Ellen M. (Wiberg) Scanlon 64, of Woonsocket, died Tuesday at home. She was the wife of Maurice Scanlon.
She was born in Boston the daughter of the late Elmer and Lillian (Gerasin) Wiberg.
She was a pricer for Mark Stevens in Woonsocket for many years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by five children: Maurice Scanlon Jr. of Burrillville, Matthew Scanlon of Woonsocket, Laurie Scanlon, Christine Garcia, and Jennifer Scanlon, all of Woonsocket, and fourteen grandchildren. In addition she is survived by two brothers; Edward Wiberg, and Stephen Wiberg, both of Medfield MA.
Visitation will be Friday evening 6-8PM in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland ST, Woonsocket. A brief prayer service will begin at 7:45. Burial will be private.
