NO. SMITHFIELD- Lucille T. (Charbonneau) Paul, 86, of Deerfield Commons, St. Paul St., No. Smithfield, died Friday, September 16, 2011 in Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Manville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Olivine (Latour) Charbonneau.
She was employed for over twenty-five years for ITT in Woonsocket and Pawtucket, retiring in 1990. She was a devout Catholic and a charitable woman who truly loved God. She was a longtime Communicant of St. James Church in Manville. She also attended St. Paul's Church in Blackstone, MA. She liked bingo, playing cards and taking trips to the casino.
She is survived by her daughter, Marianne Minnis and her husband Larry of No. Smithfield, a brother, Armand Charbonneau of Winter Haven, FL., three grandchildren, Tyler, Jennifer and Troy Minnis and one great-grandson, Jacob Minnis. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Alice Latour, Arthur, Joseph, Marcel, Roger, Emile and Cecile Charbonneau, Angelina Lamontagne, Clemence Michaels and Blanche Fredette.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 beginning at 9AM at the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. James Church, 33 Division St., Manville. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Old River Road, Manville. Calling hours will be Monday from 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
