WOONSOCKET- Filomena (Gesualdi) Proietti, 88, of St. Antoine Residence, formerly of Greene St., Chateau Claire, died Monday, September 19, 2011. She was the wife of the late Vincent Proietti.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Francisco and Rosaria (DeCotis) Gesualdi. Mrs. Proietti worked as an Office Manager for the former Almacs, for several years.
She was a member of St. Agatha's Seniors, and St. Joseph Seniors and she also volunteer for 27 years at the Palm Beach Medical Center, while Filomena and her husband vacation in Florida, for the winter.
She is survived by one daughter Rose Marie Proietti of New York, two brothers, Frank and Vincent Gesualdi, both of Woonsocket and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Antoinette Collard and Angela Resigna.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in St. Anthony Church Greene St., Woonsocket, burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call, on Friday morning from 9 -10 A.M.
