WOONSOCKET- Clifford J. Gentile, 46, of Woonsocket, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at home. He was the loving father of Daniel M. Gentile who resides with his mother Michele Plath in Sarasota, FL.
Born in Framingham, MA on February 5, 1965, he was the son of the late Alfred L. Gentile and Frances A. "Ann" (Martini) Gentile-Cohen and her husband Allan Cohen of Centerville, MA.
He was the brother of Bellingham Deputy Fire Chief Steven P. Gentile of Bellingham, MA and his fiance Robin Friberg, Rick A. Gentile and his wife Cheryl of North Attleboro, MA, and his nieces and nephews. He leaves his paternal grandmother Anna (Kent) Gentile of Portsmouth, NH and his maternal grandfather Ralph Martini and his wife Evelyn of New Port Rich, FL.
A resident of Woonsocket for 2 years formerly of Wrentham, North Attleboro and Bellingham, MA where he was raised and attended Bellingham Schools. He worked in construction on his own. Cliff will be remembered for his thoughtfulness, kindness and smile, and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 29, at 12:00 Noon at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Visiting time prior to service if from 10AM to !2:00 Noon. Interment will follow in the family lot at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Hartford Ave., Bellingham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Bellingham D.A.R.E., 6 Mechanic St., Bellingham, MA 02019
