WOONSOCKET - Theresa C. (Papineau) Castonguay 78, died Saturday at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Edmond Castonguay. Mrs. Castonguay was a homemaker for most of her life. She had worked as an assembler at Colby Glass for five years in her youth. She volunteered at the Woonsocket Senior Center, for the Woonsocket School Department and for Mayor Baldelli's Mayoral Campaign.
Theresa is survived by her sons Raymond Castonguay of Woonsocket, Paul Castonguay of Lincoln, NE, and George Castonguay of Manchester, NH, daughters, Linda Inwood of Millburn, NJ and Barbara and Carol Castonguay both of Woonsocket, a brother Adelard Papineau of Woonsocket, a sister Beatrice Chubka of Blackstone, twenty two grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Church, South Main St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. James Cemetery in Manville, RI. Visiting hours are Thursday 5-8 PM. Please visit www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook and directions
