NORTH SMITHFIELD- Gardner, Eleanor O. (Pratt), 79, died Friday, September 30, 2011. She was the wife of Donald F. Gardner for 56 years. Born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Alfred H. and Sarah J. (Gray) Pratt.
Mrs. Gardner lived in Glocester before moving to North Smithfield 56 years ago. She was a lifelong member of Greenville Baptist Church and 31 year member of Primrose Grange #9.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, besides her husband, she was the mother of Allan D. Gardner, Anne M. Gardner and the late Nancy E. Gregoire. Grandmother of Sarah F. Gregoire, Joseph L. Gregoire, Matthew A. Gardner and the late Roger B. Gregoire. She was the sister of the late Alfred H. Pratt.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service Wednesday Oct. 5, 2011 at 10AM in Greenville Baptist Church, Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation Tuesday 5-8pm in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44) Greenville. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Greenville Baptist Church will be appreciated.
