WOONSOCKET- Claire M. (Rajotte) Plamondon, 79, of Woonsocket, passed away from her earthly life, to her eternal life with God, on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 8 P.M. at Rhode Island Hospital, of respiratory failure, after a thirty-one year battle with cancer. Her husband and children were by her side
Born in Central Falls, RI she was the daughter of the late Emile and Yvonne (Busiere) Rajotte.
Dearly loved, Claire had a positive impact on the hearts and souls of those she came into contact with throughout her life. She was a true inspiration, and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, LTC Robert A. Plamondon, as well as sons John, Robert, Norman, James and Christopher and daughters Lisa M. Tetreault and Mary B. Plamondon. She also leaves 10 beloved grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was the sister of the late Raymond Rajotte.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9:15 A.M. from the Bellows-Falso Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road Lincoln, RI 02865. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, 1200 Mendon Road, Woonsocket. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Calling hours will be held Friday 4-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations can be made, in her memory to the American Cancer Research Society 30 Speen Street P.O.
