BLACKSTONE, MA- Shirley M. Bradley, 64, of Blackstone, MA, passed away Thursday in Tewksbury, MA.
Born in Malden, MA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Redfield Bradley and Persis Clarke.
Ms. Bradley was a systems analyst for the John Hancock Company for over 30 years.
Shirley was very dedicated to the Blackstone and Millville communities. Shirley served both communities for more than ten years as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels driver. She delivered monthly food staples to the homebound elders in Blackstone and Millville. Shirley demonstrated sustained commitment to meeting the community needs serving at the Blackstone/Millville St. Paul Food Pantry and was the Treasurer for the Friends of the Blackstone Council on Aging, Inc. a non-profit fundraising organization engaged in developing resources and activities to raise funds for the Blackstone Senior Center.
She leaves her two sisters, Joan Amico of Alexandria VA, Roberta Jenness and her husband Richard of Warren, RI, two brothers, David Bradley and his wife Suzanne of Tewksbury MA, and Peter Bradley of Woonsocket RI; nieces and nephews; Russell Jenness and his wife Cheryl, Randall Jenness and his wife Brenda, Ronald Jenness and his wife Heather, Raymond Jenness and his wife Donna, Robin Webber and her husband Brian, Richard Jenness and his wife Kerry Bradley Amico and his wife Karen, James Amico and his wife Lynn, Lorenza Amico, David Bradley, Leanne Bradley, and Catherine Bradley, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday at 10 am from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Funeral service at 11 am in the Four Corners Community Chapel, Angell Rd., Cumberland. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours Monday from 4 to 8 pm.
