CHEPACHET, RI- Linda M. Jackson, 53, died October 8, 2011 at her home in Shirley, ME. She was born December 2, 1957 in Providence, RI, daughter of Russell and Gloria (Simmons) Wallace.
She grew up Chepachet, RI, moving to Maine in the early nineties, making her home in Shirley. Linda enjoyed writing and had published articles in the Moosehead Messenger, Piscataquis Observer, and Yankee Magazine. She enjoyed gardening and operated Moosehead Seed Company, and also worked as a realtor.
She is survived by her partner, David Irving of Shirley; her mother, of Chepachet, RI; 4 daughters, Linda Cote and her husband, Michael of Bellingham, MA, Amanda Jackson of Burrillville, RI, Cassandra Jackson, and Jessica Jackson both of Pawtucket, RI; a twin sister, Mary Wallace, and a sister, Gloria Wallace both of Burrillville, RI; 7 grandchildren, Misty, Salim, Jasmyn, Samantha, Kaitlyn, Samuel and Zachary.
She was predeceased by her father, and a son, Norman.
Graveside memorial services will be held 1 PM, Saturday, October 15, 2011, at the Shirley Cemetery in Shirley, Maine.
