WOONSOCKET- Theresa R. (Dubois) Leduc, 86, of Woonsocket, RI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Saint Antoine Residence, North Smithfield with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Jean A. Leduc.
Born in Woonsocket on February 3, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Adrien and Loretta (Landry) Dubois.
She was the loving mother of Robert Leduc of New Paltz, NY, Paul Leduc of Woonsocket, RI, Lorraine Leduc of Woonsocket, RI, Jeanne Principe and her husband Bob of Cranston, RI, Denise Angell and her husband Larry of Blackstone, MA, Louise Tancrell of North Smithfield, RI; and leaves her cherished 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Constance McDuff of Laprairie, Canada.
A resident of Woonsocket formerly of Bellingham, MA, Mr. & Mrs. Leduc were the original owners of Duke's Floor Covering in Bellingham. She and her husband loved traveling across the United States and Canada in their Winnebago, and having family gatherings. Devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Monday, October 17, at 9:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket, RI. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Sunday, October 16, from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Theresa R.
