WOONSOCKET- Johnsie P. Jackson 62, of Willow St. died Sunday at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Gladdin, SC a daughter of the late Young Gladney and Trockcell (Gibson) Gaffney. Johnsie was a line worker for the former Miller Electric Co. for over twenty years.
She leaves two sons Henry Jeter of N. Providence, and Barre Jeter of Woonsocket, a daughter Daisy Jeter of Woonsocket, two brothers Albert and John Gaffney both of Woonsocket, a sister Ernestine Gladney Martin of TX, seven grandchildren, Robert, Darrel, Brianna, Ariella, Sophia, Naomi, and Gabriella, a great granddaughter, Arianna, nieces and nephews, Albert Jr., James, Shirley, Marlene, and Howard Jr. and sisters- in -law Clara, Ethel and Donna.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a service in the Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in N. Smithfield. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4-7 PM.For directions and guestbook, please visit
