BURRILLVILLE- Selma E. Bruyere 92, resident of Pascoag formerly of Smithfield died October 18, 2011 at the Pine Grove Health Center in Pascoag.
Wife of the late Harold Bruyere.
Born June 19, 1919 in Farmington ME, a daughter to the late Urban & Katherine (Sample) Oakes.
Selma was a loving homemaker, she lived in Smithfield for many years, and previously she lived in Pascoag for over forty years.
She is survived by her daughter Janice Thompson and her husband Francis of Smithfield, grandchildren, Greg Thompson of Smithfield, Jeff Thompson and his wife Christine of No. Smithfield, Linda Thompson of Cumberland and Catherine Mann and her husband Tim of NC, great granddaughter, Heather O'Brien and her husband Sean and great great grandson Kyle O'Brien.
She was preceded in death by her son Theodore Bruyere.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:30am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. No. Smithfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Michael's Church in Smithfield. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Pascoag. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral from 8:30am until 9:30am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pine Grove Health Center Patients Activity Fund 999 So. Main St. Pascoag RI 02859.
