PASCOAG- Woodman, Hazel "Red", 73, passed away on November 1, 2011 at Bayberry Commons in Pascoag, RI. She was the beloved wife of Edwin Woodman. They would have celebrated their 56th wedding Anniversary on November 21.
Born in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of William and Edith (Decker) Prince.
Hazel lived in Bellingham, MA for twenty plus years before moving to Chepachet, RI where she lived for the past thirteen years. She was known simply as Red to most of her close friends and colleagues working as a waitress in restaurants throughout Rhode Island.
Besides her husband, she leaves her sons Karl, Kevin, and Clifford Woodman and her daughters Debbie Woodman, Karen Schmitz, and Kelley Jodoin. Hazel will also be missed by her adoring eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
There is no Funeral Mass or Service planned, but friends and family are cordially invited to join together at Club Par-X, 36 Stanley Ave, Woonsocket on Friday, November 4, from 4-6 pm as a tribute and honor for Red. For more information and online guestbook, please visit
