She would be a regular volunteer in all of her girl's activities taking leadership positions every chance she could.
She was a communicant of St. Theresa Church, Blackstone and the former Assumption Church Bellingham. Her dedication to her church was truly exceptional. Some of the functions she was passionate about were being treasurer of the Ladies of St. Ann, a dedicate and always described as fun CYO Leader, CCD Teacher, Brownie and Girl-scout troop Leader.
Later in life she found comfort in her new role as Memere (grandmother) to her 7 loving grandchildren. Activities would include shopping with her sister. One of her favorite activities included cooking and spending quality time with her significant other Ed Wenger. They traveled regularly together to Aruba where Jackie always loved going. Hobbies she enjoyed and excelled at included knitting, ceramics, bowling, traveling, spending time with her family, grandchildren, and companion.
