Jose A. Reyes-Rivera

WOONSOCKET- Jose A. Reyes-Rivera, 40, of Woonsocket, died Friday, November 11, 2011 in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.
Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of Fernando Reyes of Puerto Rico and Nydia Rivera of Woonsocket.
Mr. Reyes-Rivera was a Doctor of Pharmacy, having received his Ph. D. from URI in 2004. He enjoyed going to the beach, traveling and dancing. Jose is remembered as a thoughtful and giving person who was the heart and soul of his family.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two children, Joanthony and Joselyn Reyes, both of Puerto Rico, two brothers, Angel Colon of Providence and Hector Reyes of Woonsocket, three sisters, Wanda Reyes-Rivera of Providence, Magaly Febus of Johnston and Susy Reyes of Cranston, and his ex-wife, Gloribel Febus of Puerto Rico.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 11AM in All Saints Community Church, 323 Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, 314 Wrentham Rd., Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5-9PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or All Saints Community Church, 323 Rathbun St., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
