SLATERSVILLE- Lillian M. (Pacheco) Cabral, 98, a lifelong resident of Main St. died peacefully Sunday, November 13, 2011 at home under hospice care, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John C. Cabral.
Born in San Miguel, The Azores, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Beatriz M. Pacheco.
She worked in the local textile industry retiring in 1976 from the former Stamina Mills in Forestdale. She was a Communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church and was a member of the St. Anne's Society.
The Matriarch of the family, she is survived by two children, Linda Thibault and her husband, David of No. Smithfield and Dennis Cabral of Uxbridge, MA, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Beatrice Langelier and sister of the late Edward, Urban and Lucien Pacheco and Odelia Theriault.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 9AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, Church St., Slatersville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5 - 8PM.
