WOONSOCKET- Constance Bogdan, age 74, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 16, 2011.
She was born on Tuesday, February 9, 1937 in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Arthur T. and Rena (Jacob) Lapierre Sr.
She was a lifelong Woonsocket resident, who enjoyed working at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket for 13 years as a housekeeper, which she retired from in August 1993. In addition to working at Landmark, Constance had also worked for Royal Robes for 5 years as a seamstress.
Constance is survived by a son, Stanley J. Bogdan, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; 4 daugthers-MaryAnn Morrissey of Glocester, RI, Theresa Murphy of Bellmawr, NJ, Joann Antoniou and Suzanne Coppinger, both of Woonsocket, RI; 4 brothers-Arthur T. Lapierre, Jr. of Elizabeth, NJ, Roland Lapierre, Richard Lapierre and Raymond Lapierre, all of Woonsocket, RI; 1 sister, Delores Languirand of Millville, RI; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Constance was preceded in death by a sister Lorraine Krajczynski.
Funeral arrangements and burial were held privately. Arrangements were entrusted to Egidio DiPardo Funeral Home.
