WOONSOCKET- Linda (Fontaine) Roderick, 58, of Providence St., died peacefully with her family by her side on Monday November 28, 2011, at Landmark Medical Center, after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Frank Roderick.
Born in Woonsocket, beloved daughter of Doris Fontaine, of Woonsocket, and the late Lucien Fontaine; she was the loving mother of Marc Fontaine and Robin Roderick, both of Woonsocket.
Linda loved to sing with her children, play bingo and watch old movies and horror films.
She was a Homemaker.
She is survived and loved by several siblings, Susan Brizard, of Florida, Lucien Fontaine of North Smithfield, Richard Fontaine of Woonsocket, Sandra Perrault of Woonsocket, Denise Boisse of North Smithfield, David Fontaine, of Florida, Debra Cotnoir of Cumberland, James Fontaine of North Smithfield, and Dawn Castonguay, of Woonsocket; she leaves behind several brothers/sister in laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and her longtime companion Roland Frigon of Woonsocket, she will be deeply missed by all.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Thursday December 1, 2011, at 8 P.M. in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. Burial will be private at St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA.
