COVENTRY- Joanne K. Lee 59, resident of Coventry RI, died November 24, 2011 at Bayberry Commons in Pascoag RI.
She was born on March 23, 1952 in Tewksbury MA, a daughter of the late Everett & Harriet (Mullen) Stone.
Joanne worked at Lakeview Nursing home in Burrillville as a nurses aide for several years. She was also a graduate of the Sawyer school as a lab technician. She was a den leader and served on many committees with the Cub and Boy Scout Troops #102 based in Mapleville.
She is survived by her daughter Kristen Lee of Coventry, her son Steven and his partner Patricia Singleton of Pascoag, Adam and his partner Amy Landry of Pascoag, and Joseph and his partner Julie Tucker of Slatersville, and her former husband, James Lee of Plainfield NJ.
Joanne was also the very proud grandmother of Jayden, Khyleigh, and Mackenzie Lee, all of Pascoag.
She also leaves a brother, Philip Stone of GA, and two sisters, Maureen Stone and Eleanor Main, both of Woonsocket, and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:30am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. No. Smithfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Good Help Church in Mapleville. Burial will follow in Acotes Hill Cemetery in Chepachet. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4pm until 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the RI Chapter of the March of Dimes 220 West Exchange Street, Suite 003 Providence, RI, 02903.
