BELLINGHAM- David P. Walsh, 53, of Bellingham, MA, was called back to his Lord on Monday, November 28, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia A. (Bullock) Walsh.
David was born in Boston, MA, on December 2, 1957, the son of the late John J. and Joan E. (MacGillivray) Walsh and was raised in Braintree, MA.
He will be dearly missed by his devoted wife, Cindy, of 28 years. He leaves behind his brother, Michael Walsh and his wife Claudia, of Lovettsville, VA; Susan Gallagher and her husband Sean of Alexandria, VA; Patricia Walsh of Braintree, MA; Lisa Wood and her husband Mark of Odenton, MD; and many nieces and nephews including great nieces and nephews.
David was an avid student of the Bible, and he had the kindest heart. David always had a twinkle in his eye with family, friends and anyone he met. He loved a good joke and enjoyed teasing his family and friends. As a teenager, he loved Bobby Orr and the Bruins especially when they played his Grandfather's favorite team, the Montreal Canadians. As a young adult he committed himself to Jesus Christ and His Word, which became his life's passion. He was a devoted uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
He was a resident of Bellingham for 16 years, formerly of Wrentham and went to school for videography at New England Institute of Technology. The Pastor of Abounding Grace Fellowship, he spent the past 35 years studying and teaching God's Word and loving people.
A Memorial Service in celebration of David's life will be held on Saturday, December 3, at 11:00AM at the Faith Baptist Church, 7 Main Street, Mendon, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
