WOONSOCKET - Helen (Bartnick) Carpenter, 87, a resident of the Friendly Home passed away peacefully on Sunday at the Friendly Home, she was the loving wife of the late Albert Carpenter.
Born May 17, 1924, in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Ignatius & Rosalia (Karczewska) Bartnick, she resided in Woonsocket all her life Helen was employed as a clerk at the former Whitinsville Machine Shop until retiring, previously, she was employed for 27 years, at the former Uniroyal Co. in Woonsocket.
She is survived by 3 Sisters, Blanche Beaudoin of Hudson, NH., Julia M. Amaral of Woonsocket & Cecelia Thifault of Ormond Beach, FL. She was the Godmother to Donna Fantoni of Woonsocket, she is also survived by a niece, Nancy LaRose of Hudson, NH, and many other nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Theodore Bartnick.
Her Funeral will be Friday at 10:00 AM, from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Harris Ave. Woonsocket, Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Relatives & Friends are invited. A visitation hour will be Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
