BLACKSTONE- Debra C. (Barrette) Stearns, 53, of Blackstone, MA passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Alan Stearns for 14 years.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on May 29, 1958, she was the daughter of the late William and Jeannine (Belanger) Barrette.
She was the loving mother of Jesse Stearns and his wife Jennifer of Bellingham, MA; and leaves her cherished grandson Jacob and soon to be Jayden. She was the sister of William Barrette of Bellingham, MA, Robert Barrette of Las Vegas, NV, Albert Barrette of Franklin, MA, Susan Carlisle and Jeannie Johnson both of Bellingham, MA, Patricia Desmarais and Doreen Frend both of Blackstone, MA, Pauline Stoddard of Woonsocket, RI and Tina Hilditch of Milford, MA.
Debra was a resident of Blackstone formerly of Bellingham where she attended Bellingham Schools. She had worked at Lady Carols Jewelry in Woonsocket. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 14, at 10:00AM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Interment will follow at the Center Cemetery, Mechanic St. (Rte 140), Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Tuesday, December 13, from 4 to 7PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations to the Debra Stearns Memorial Fund, c/o Dean Bank, 411 Pulaski Blvd., Bellingham, MA 02019 would be appreciated.
