LISBON, NH- Nancy V. (Cullerton) Ferschke, 62, of Lisbon, NH passed away on Sunday December 11th in Littleton Regional Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of Marc L. Ferschke whom she married on August 30, 1986.
Born September 26, 1949 in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late James and Rita Cullerton.
Nancy was employed as a production planner at Tech Industries in Woonsocket, RI for 23 years before retiring to the North Country of New Hampshire. Prior to that, she was a nurse's aide. She was a 1967 graduate of Woonsocket High School.
Nancy loved living in the White Mountains and made friends wherever she went. Nancy's smile and laughter were contagious as she brightened up any room she entered or life she touched. She was giving and caring and always had time to help a friend in need. In the short time she was in the North Country she left a deep imprint in the hearts and minds of all who knew her. She loved her two cats, gardening, hiking, photography, woodworking and just sitting by the campfire with friends.
In addition to her husband Marc, she is survived by her daughter Anne Taylor of Shreveport, LA, brother Ronald Culletton of Bellingham, MA, four sisters, Sandra Bethel of Lincoln, RI, Donna Robitaille of North Smithfield, RI, Lisa Davidson of Woonsocket, RI, and Kim Badeau of Sidman, PA. She was the sister of the late James Cullerton Jr. and Gary Cullerton. Nancy leaves behind three grandchildren, Michael, Stefanie and Kyle Taylor, one great-granddaughter Mia, and fourteen nieces and nephews.
Memorial services in RI are tentatively scheduled for January 7th.
