BURRILLVILLE- Jennie Nolda, 91, of Ashton Court passed away on Monday December 19, 2011 at Overlook Nursing Home.
A lifelong resident of Burrillville, Jennie was born June 1, 1920 in Mapleville, RI. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Tekla (Gondek) Nolda.
Jennie worked for the First National Store in Greenville, retiring in 1982. To keep herself active, she was a member of both the Burrillville and Glocester Senior Citizen Group, as well as the former Rosary and Altar Society at Our Lady of Good Help Church.
Jennie is survived by her sister Mary McCann of Pascoag, 3 sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Roland, Charles, and Stanley Nolda, as well as a sister Annie Kulick.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, December 24 from the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Highway, Oakland. Calling hours will be held from 8:30 -9:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Our Lady of Good Help Church in Mapleville. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Pascoag.
