WOONSOCKET- Alice G. Harnois 88, formerly of Clinton St. died Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Bayberry Commons, Pascoag.
Born in Woonsocket, October 9, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Emilien and Marie (Deserres) Harnois.
Before her retirement in 1987, Alice worked for Philips Electronics Corp. in North Smithfield for eighteen years.
She is survived by a sister, Bertha J. Dumond of North Smithfield, a brother Rosaire G. Harnois and his wife Monique of Nice, France, eleven nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Lionel, Lucien, Robert, and Anita Harnois.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in Precious Blood Cemetery in Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association RI Chapter, 245 Waterman St. Ste. 306 Providence, RI 02906-5215 in her memory. Please visit
