BURRILLVILLE- Robert M. Aguiar, 64 of Pascoag, RI, died on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011. He was the son of Alice (Bourassa) Aguiar of Millville, MA and the late Manuel C. Aguiar.
He is also survived by his wife Alice (Pariseau) Aguiar, five children: Lorri Astillero of the Philippines, David Aguiar of Palmer, AK, Anne Wirrell of Douglas, MA, Jennie Thomas of Ridgway, CO, and Dawn Aguiar of Putnam, CT; and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, John Aguiar of York, SC, and a sister Lynn Tellier of Woonsocket.
Bob was a disabled Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of VFW post #6342 of Forestdale, and the Holy Ghost Society of North Smithfield. He enjoyed riding his Harley, playing golf, fishing and hunting.
His funeral will be held Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 starting at 9AM with a service at 10AM in the Boucher funeral home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Burial with Honors will follow in the RI Veteran Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Holy Ghost Society of North Smithfield, PO Box 33, Forestdale, RI 02824.
